Malossi RS24 Rear Shock for Vespa PX 150

The Malossi RS24 is one of the best values in a peformance shock for your Vespa PX 150. It is widely used in the European Scooter Challenge circuit. 24 different settings are possible with this shock. The Piston is larger than that of the competition, making it more robust and a lot more durable.

RS24 is the Athlete: The RS24 is the evergreen of the range and one of the most wanted in the ESC and other racing series. Its compact design belies its high tech interior. The damping process takes place in two seperate chambers, one filled with gas, the other with oil. This ingeniuos solution makes the use of a seperate external reservoir redumdent. The spring preload is continous and the damping feature has 24 adjustment possibilities.
 
The Malossi RS24 is a regenerable oleo gear with bi-lamination piston and baffle plate compensation.

36-mm piston with two independent lamellar packs, one in extension and one in compression; lamellar system made of harmonic steel with leaf spring configuration;
LUBRIFLON-PTFE B70 piston runner guide (bronze-loaded modified compound);
Sliding on GUIDA DU guide bushing (a composite material obtained by sintering a layer of spheroidal bronze on a mild steel strap properly treated, followed by impregnation and coating with a mixture of PTFE + PB);
Polyester resin SEALTHANE grade 9345 scraper ring
 38NCD4 alloy steel shock absorber rod ø 14 mm, hardened and tempered with hard chrome deposit thickness 25/30 microns (superficial hardness of the untreated shaft HRC 55/60)
